Eat3D Forums

Eat3D specializes in high quality training videos for 3D artists. These are sold through a Drupal-powered shopping cart site. Prior to work done by InterMedia, a vBulletin forum was bolted on to the shopping cart. This worked, but the forum lacked integration with their shopping cart: customers were unable to see their purchases when surfing the forum and there was no way to mail forum users from inside Drupal. Eat3D quickly reached the limits of their forum software.

‘I won’t miss vBulletin much.’

First InterMedia imported the vBulletin database to the Drupal shopping cart, using our own vBulletin to Drupal module. Then expanded the Eat3D Drupal installation with new modules and theme authoring to include forums, member profiles, private messages, friends and comment walls.

Now Eat3D have tight integration between their forums and the rest of the site, their users are happy, the theme is in one place instead of being spread across two software packages, even the forum thread URL’s are prettier (and contain keywords search engines understand).

Naturally, since we made their forums rock, Eat3D will be using InterMedia in the future too.

aPaddedCell

aPaddedCell is an articles site, created by InterMedia, that serves as a companion to The Webmaster Forums. Content, tutorials, reviews etc. are written on this site while users feedback, comments and requests for help are directed to The Webmaster Forums.

Like The Webmaster Forums the target market for aPaddedCell is the—often ignored—new Web designer/developer, just starting out on their first few projects. These are people who need direction but are not receiving it: The Webmaster Forums and aPaddedCell are changing that! Naturally both sites need a group of experienced Webmasters to offer guidance, these people are welcome at both sites.

aPaddedCell is powered by Drupal, GNU/Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL on InterMedia's dedicated server. The Drupal Content Management System (CMS) is used to store, sort and present content.

The Webmaster Forums

The Webmaster Forums is one of the oldest forums of its kind on the Web. Started in 1998 and bought by InterMedia in 2005, the forums that were once neglected were converted to Drupal and are now seeing an upturn in activity and quality. InterMedia is achieving its goal of returning the forums to their former glory, making The Webmaster Forums the best place to get help with Webmastering, Web Design and Development.

The Webmaster Forums is powered by Drupal, GNU/Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL on InterMedia’s dedicated server.

A beautiful location in Charente Maritime, France. Chez Bardon is a provider of superior quality gites and differs from other similar organisations by providing access for disabled users.

Chez Bardon required an Internet site to direct potential customers for information, it is the hook that has closed many bookings.
